What students say PRO
From students' own posts on Reddit and admissions forums: self-reported, unverified, never used in your odds.
- About 10 of 18 admits held a part-time job, some for all four years of high school, alongside school and activities.
- Most admits (about 12 of 18) held a real leadership role, such as club founder, class officer, captain, Eagle Scout, or section leader.
- Five of 18 admits said they applied Early Action; one said Regular Decision and the rest did not say.
- Many admits took harder classes (AP, honors, dual enrollment, or summer college courses), often with GPAs between about 3.5 and 3.95.
- Admits with lower GPAs (about 3.2 to 3.5) still got in when they showed steady work, sports, volunteering, or leadership.
- Students report the Early Action deadline is Dec 1 and also sets merit scholarship consideration; decisions come mid-January, with merit awards a few weeks later.
