What this is

College Underdog estimates a student's chance of admission at US colleges from public data, chiefly each college's Common Data Set, and from published research. The odds are estimates for a typical applicant with the details you give. They are not a guarantee, a prediction about you as a person, or advice from an admissions officer.

The season pass

The pass is a single payment that unlocks the paid features for the 2026–27 admissions cycle, through 31 July 2027. It is personal: please don't share it. If it isn't useful to you, ask for a refund within 7 days of buying.

Data and rankings

College data comes from Open College Data and is licensed CC BY 4.0. Rankings are shown as published by their owners (U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, QS, Times Higher Education, Niche), credited and linked. They belong to those publishers, who do not endorse College Underdog.

Student posts

Tactics come from students' public posts, paraphrased with links to the original. They are self-reported and unverified, and they are never used in anyone's odds.

Using the site

Don't use the site to break the law, overload it, or resell the paid features. We may change or stop features; if we stop the paid features during a season you paid for, we'll refund you.

Liability
